Academic Advising
As a University of Utah student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, you have several advisors to help you succeed. These include a College Advisor, a Department Advisor, and a Faculty Advisor. Each of these advisors is a specialist who is here to assist you in navigating college life and to aid you in crafting a degree and a university experience specific to your needs, skills and interests. The hours you spend with advisors each semester will be an enormous benefit to you.
College of Fine Arts Advisors
All incoming freshmen should meet with a CFA Advisor before the withdrawl date in their first semester. Freshmen must meet with a CFA Advisor before they can register for a second semester of classes. All sophomores must meet with a CFA Advisor in their fall semester.

Department of Theatre Academic Advisor
All incoming freshmen will meet with the Department of Theatre Academic Advisor in the first semester of their freshman year. All juniors and seniors will meet with the Academic Advisor as they prepare for graduation. Graduation Application due dates are November 1 for spring, February 1 for summer, and June 1 for fall.
