STUDIO 115
For Immediate
Release
The University of Utah Department of Theatre
presents Treasure in Studio 115, April 17 through April 20. Based on the true
story of our nation’s first Treasury Secretary, Alexander Hamilton, whose affair
with Maria Reynolds was used in attempts to derail his economic policies,
Treasure is a compelling tale of 18th century politics, indiscretions, and the
manipulation of power brokers. Written by faculty member Tim Slover, Treasure
was the recipient of the 2006 Christopher Brian Wolk Award for Excellence in
Playwriting, Abingdon Theatre, New York. Show times are 7:30 pm on Thursday
through Saturday, with 2:00 pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20.
Tickets are $9 general admission, $5 for students, and are available through
Kingsbury Ticket Office, 581-7100. Studio 115 is located in the Performing Arts
Building, just west of the Campus Bookstore.
