Kyle Becker likes to teach students and make things.  He has worked as a welder, carpenter, painter, draftsman, theme park supervisor, handyman and artist-for-hire.  He received his BFA at the University of Utah and MFA from the University of California-Irvine with an emphasis in Scene Design.  Kyle has designed and constructed projects for Disneyland and Orange County Fairgrounds in California, and for the Orlando Repertory Theatre in Florida. He taught design and technical theatre at the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Central Florida. Locally, he has been the Technical Director for Utah Music Theatre in Ogden, the Greek Theatre Festival in Salt Lake City, and has designed for Youth Theatre at the University of Utah.  In addition to designing and building sets for U Theatre, Kyle also teaches Computer Aided Design, Scene Painting, Stagecraft, and is a guest lecturer for Scenography.
