Mr. Willardson has been with The University Theatre Dept. and Pioneer Theatre Co. since 1972.


Since that time he has designed over 120 productions for PTC, plus many designs for local stages throughout Utah. Peter has designed lights for Pete Seeger and the Children's Dance Theatre for Utah's PBS affiliate, has Illuminated productions for the Anchorage Festival Theatre, as well as Hosanna, an oratorio on the life and death of Christ for the Jerusalem Symphony and a 560 member choir in Jerusalem.

 

He has also spent time with the Sundance Institute for Playwrights. Consulting work includes Casino Magic in New Orleans, Circus, Circus in Reno Nevada, the Holocaust Memorial Museums touring exhibit featuring the 1936 Berlin Olympics at the University of Utah's Marriott Library which was presented along side Salt Lake City's 2002 Winter Olympics, and various theatres and restaurants throughout the region.
