Bill Poore

William Poore is a teacher, actor, and director. He received his B.F.A. in Theatre from the University of Utah, and now teaches acting for the Department of Theatre. Bill worked for ten years on Broadway at the Helen Hayes Theatre, where he served as an assistant to a number of producers.  Memorable plays he was associated with there were Gemini, Fifth of July, curse of the Aching Heart, and the Tony Award winning Torch Song Trilogy.  During his New York days, Bill also assisted Dr. Clyde Vinson, a leading acting and movement teacher in the city.  On the West Coast, Bill was a critically acclaimed director in San Diego and Los Angeles, where he also taught commercial acting through his own acting studio.
