Faye Barron

Faye is the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Theatre for the past seven years. Faye provides general academic advising and orientation to Theatre Majors. She is usually the first person you meet when you declare your Theatre Major. Faye also coordinates class schedules, curriculum proposals, and room schedules. She assists with the Faculty Rank Promotion and Tenure process, takes minutes at faculty meetings, and coordinates and distributes scholarship information for the Department of Theatre.

Before coming to the Department of Theatre, Faye was Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Nursing for over nine years. In addition to administrative duties during this time, she served on the college's Public Relations Committee and on the editorial staff of their in-house magazine, EXCELLENCE. She also provided staff support for the University of Utah Presidential Commission on the Status of Women. Faye believes our students are our best customers and our best product.
